Should I form an LLC or an S-corp?
It depends on your income, how you plan to pay yourself and how many owners you have. An S-corp is a tax election, often made by an LLC, not a separate kind of company. We go through the numbers with you on the first call.
Which states do you form companies in?
We file formations in every state, for domestic companies and for foreign registrations when an existing company expands.
How long does it take?
It depends on the state. Some approve filings within days and others take a few weeks. We tell you the expected timing for your state when we quote.
Do I need a registered agent?
Yes, every state requires one. You can act as your own, use a third party, or use our office address.
What does it cost?
Pricing is flat and agreed before any work starts. After a short call about what you need, we send a written quote with the scope spelled out, so there are no surprise bills. State filing fees are separate and set by the state.
What happens after the company is formed?
Most new companies need bookkeeping, an annual report each year and a business tax return. We can take care of all three so nothing is missed.
